Community Outreach Event June 22
Join us Gold Hill citizenry for our 3rd Annual Community Outreach Event presented by Historic Gold Hill Inc. On Friday evening, June 22, Boulder County historian Silvia Pettem, and Boulder County railroad expert Larry Dorsey will present “The Switzerland Trail of Gold Hill, Colorado” at the museum. Join us for an evening of fun and learning about the trains, the people, the events, the experiences, and the rise and fall of this storied Boulder County trail just west of Gold Hill.
The Gold Hill Museum is located in the historic mining town of Gold Hill, Colorado. Gold Hill is located about 10 miles west of Boulder, Colorado up Sunshine Canyon. The Museum is located in the old St. James Chapel building at the corner of Prospect and Pine streets.
